The LORD himself goes before you. He'll be with you, never leave you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.
This day is designed for frequent meditation. This doesn't have to be all at once. In fact, when we turn it over and over again in our minds, it begins to find its way into our hearts, which eventually changes the way we live.
This is the point of meditating on scripture and that's why we focus one day every week on it.
Ask yourself the question, "What does this mean for my life?" And, "What do I need to change?"
Try breaking down every word for examination. For example, what does Moses intend us to understand when he says "The LORD goes before you?" How does this impact me today? Is God an agent, my ambassador? Why do I need Him to go before me? Does it simply mean He's a forerunner or a flag bearer? How can He go before me, and yet never leave me?
